Season of Dearing

Haru lives a quiet, uneventful life as a public office worker. After the passing of his high school friend and first love, Natsu, Haru took in Natsu’s son, Shuji, raising him like family. Now on the verge of adulthood and preparing to move out after graduation, Shuji is the spitting image of his late father—stirring old emotions Haru thought he had buried long ago.

As they continue living together, Haru finds himself torn—struggling between the role of a guardian and the growing, forbidden feelings he’s developed for Shuji. But just when Haru begins to question everything, he realizes Shuji may be feeling the same way.

Their fragile bond is shaken when a man claiming to be Haru’s lover suddenly appears and confronts Shuji, turning his world upside down. Confused, hurt, and betrayed, Shuji runs away, unsure of who Haru really is—or what his own feelings mean.
