The First Commandment

This story unfolds in Saratov, a city populated by Russian immigrants, where Alexei, a member of the mafia, is caught in the throes of deep emotional and familial turmoil. Alexei has always made the protection of his younger brother his top priority, but his obsessive devotion is complicated by his brother’s resentment towards him. As Alexei struggles to keep his secrets hidden, the tension escalates with the arrival of two key figures in his life: Valerie, a talented and charismatic ballerino, and Rian, an Omega who serves as Valerie’s self-proclaimed sponsor.

The plot thickens when Alexei learns that Rian is connected to Kalish, a police officer who is targeting the mafia boss, putting Alexei’s entire world at risk. Despite Alexei’s attempts to separate Valerie and Rian, Valerie refuses to listen, leading Alexei to make a dangerous decision to protect his brother. In a moment of desperation, Alexei’s emotions surge as he confronts the dire consequences of his actions, pleading with those around him, “I said I would do anything for you.”
